17.09.08 | Dominion Oil and Gas upgrade

Tinto Architecture Ltd are delighted to be involved in the substantial redevelopment of Dominion Oil and Gas on the Kirkhill industrial estate in Dyce. In conjunction with DM Hall Tinto will be responsible for delivering architectural services in the major upgrade. Work is now underway and the project is expected to begin on site in early 2009.

12.09.08 | CNR Phase 2 award.

Tinto architecture have been awarded the contract for phase 2 of the redevelopment for CNR via Sodexo at St Magnus House, work is due to begin on the 4th of October.

04.09.08 | Mcleish Aberdeen Expansion Complete

Work on the latest Mcleish store in Schoollhill Aberdeenwas completed ahead of schedule allowing the new store to open on the 4th of September, business has been swift and Tinto Architecture are delighted to have been able to assist.

Work on the latest Mcleish store in Schoollhill Aberdeen will get underway this week. Strategically placed on a main shopping route it is sure to follow the success of the union street store.

04.08.08 | Northern Star Finalist

Managing Director Richard Tinto has been selected as a finalist in the forthcoming Northern Star Business Awards. The rising Star Category Recognises contributions to business by individuals. The event which is hosted on the 25th September has over the last few years become one of the most promionent on the local business Callender and Richard is absolutely delighted with his selection.

Stv will visit the practice in the near future to interview Richard and the awards are preceeded by a drinks reception for finalists on 18th September.

29.07.08 | CNR Completion

Tinto Architecture in conjunction with Sodexo remote sites are pleased to announce the successful completion of the CNR relocation at St Magnus House.

15.07.08 | Heritage Centre Update

Our recent acquisition and disposal of the Heritage Building at Grandholm is now complete and we are looking forward to welcoming our new neighbours, Grandholm Dental Practice and Local Firm Safety Scotland. Tinto are currently working on further deals and the creation of a vehicle to progress these remains a key focus of the business, Managing Director Richard Tinto commented " Our first major property deal has made a huge difference to the strength of Tinto Architecure Ltd, we had done and been involved in smaller projects in the past but this one was certainly something of a tipping point. Hopefully by the end of 2008 we will have completed on another opportunity and be looking for prospective tenants/purchasers".

27.06.08 | Nina Craddock Joins Team Tinto

Tinto Architecture are delighted that their restructure is now complete with the addition of another consultant. Interior Specialist Nina will bring interior architecture skills to the business allowing the service provided to a growing number of commercial clients.

30.04.08 | Northern Hotel Architectural Services Secured

Tinto Architecture Ltd have secured a contract to provide architectural services for the prestigious Aberdeen Northern Hotel as they redevelop the annex to the building providing 16 additional rooms and 4 luxury apartments. The annex which was originally attached to the hotel has been utlised as student accommodation for the last 20 years. By adding an Art Deco Glass link between the buildings Tinto will ensure the annex is returned to its original purpose with the added value of very desirable apartment accommodation for the commercial sector.

28.04.08 | Kingseat Hospital Development Contract Awarded

Tinto Architecture have just been awarded the fit out contract for the former Administration building at the Kingseat Hospital Development close to Newmachar. The former Hospital hub will become the hub of the transformed former hospital providing, bar and restaurant facilities along with retail space and serviced accommodation.

Managing Director Richard Tinto has recently been incorporated into the ICIOB (Chartered Institute Of Building). In constant communication with the institute Richard hopes to progress to MCIOB rapidly and then take the practice forward as a Chartered Building Consultancy. Watch this space.

Tinto Architecture will be responsible for the second McLeish store set for Aberdeen, following on from the flagship successfully delivered in early 2007. The Schoolhill site will provide 1800 sq.ft. of retail space.
