09.06.10 | Sub-drill - Planning Lodged

We are delighted to announce the lodgement of planning for a new workshop / yard and office facility for rapidly expanding local company Sub-drill Supply Ltd.

Having successfully assisted in brokering the client for the one acre site at Westhill, the lodgement of planning now ensures a timely completion and handover to the client.

Stuart Paton, Managing Director of Sub-drill comments:

"The opportunity to purchase this site on Endeavour Drive has come just at the right time for us. We have been looking for a one acre site in a good location for a couple of years, with continued expansion during this period causing increasing concern.

Working with Tinto Architecture on the design has also been a smooth process, and we are very pleased with the look of the building which compliments the combined development along with Hallin.

The new facility will consolidate our production and service capabilities on one site, allowing us to reduce our cost base and implement new products and services at competitive prices. "

The project which will help to raise Tinto's profile in commercial solutions, is currently scheduled to go on site in August 2010 and completed for Spring 2011, proving that form follows function really is the successful blend to expanding companies.

09.06.10 | Works start on £3 million Hallin Headquarters

Work has started on the new, £3million Hallin headquarters, located on the Arnhall Business Park, Westhill. Tinto Architecture is managing the design process throughout the duration of the project, estimated for completion by Spring 2011. It is the biggest single new build that Tinto has worked on since the launch of the company seven years ago.

Tinto have worked closely with Hallin Marine and its major equity holder, Gresham House, over several months to help secure the former Scottish Water site.

Richard Tinto, managing director of Tinto Architecture, said:

"Tinto are delighted to be working with both Hallin and Gresham on this project. This exciting development sees Tinto firmly establishing themselves in the local commercial market and sets a benchmark of quality for our future developments."
