About

We're not your average architectural firm. At Tinto Architecture, Interiors and You, it’s the ‘You’ part that makes us different.

At the core of every project we undertake a human-centred design approach. Whether it’s a commercial building, a retail store, or a house extension, the space will be used by people and that’s why we put them at the heart of the process.

Since we began in 2004 our desire has always been to create places and spaces for people that inspire. From our offices in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, the team delivers a range of architectural services for the retail, residential and commercial markets to local, national and international clients.

We believe passionately that our job as architects is to add value to the lives of the people who use the buildings we design. After all, your property is one of the largest investments you will ever make.

We’re proud of our team here at Tinto. They're a collection of wonderful, creative, passionate professionals. So whoever you deal with day to day, you can be sure you’ll receive a Tinto Design.

Team

One that we can all be proud of, designed with you at the heart of it.

Aileen Dunnett

Aileen Dunnett

Business Manager

Biography

Aileen joined Tinto Architecture in March 2016 as Business Manager.  Until then, architecture was one of the few industries Aileen had not worked in, having previously been involved in the public sector, oil & gas (both for operator and service providers), manufacturing, hospitality and retail.

At Tinto, Aileen is responsible for supporting the Leadership Team with all aspects of the business. She also oversees the finance team and is the first point of contact for customers, old and new. Her inspiration comes from being a small clog in a big wheel, and leaves the office at the end of each week knowing she has played her part in the success of the business.

Outside of work her two ‘little’ girls keep her busy although they are definitely now ‘young adults in training’.  She enjoys socialising with family and friends, in particular meeting for a bite to eat, going to the cinema or theatre and is lucky enough to live in a beautiful area of Aberdeen, where she enjoys walking along the riverside with its ever changing landscape.
